Sutton Vision works to enable and empower people living in Sutton with sight loss and those who are blind to live healthy, independent lives. Through our work we provide positive, constructive knowledge, information and support to people as they experience changes in their vision or sight loss.
At Sutton Vision, our work is to support those after a diagnosis of sight loss. This can be a devastating time for many people, with fears around losing independence, employment, social contact, and an imagined future.
With over 6,000 people in Sutton living with visual impairment or blindness, we want to make sure no-one is alone is facing these issues. We aim to reach everyone who may need us, at a time when they decide they need this help.
Our support can range from adapting a smartphone to voice instruction to maintain contact with friends and relatives; offering practical support such as applying for a blue badge; and, offering social activities to reduce isolation and allows users to meet others in the same situation.
By sponsoring our Golf Tournament on Wednesday 5 June, you will help us to continue this work, transforming the lives of not only those living with sight loss but their families and friends too. By empowering individuals, we help them choose the life they want, one step at a time.
